On the  afternoon of March 14th, Prof. Peter Halley, Director of the Department of  Chemical Engineering, University of Queensland, Australia, and his colleagues  Professor Peter Hayes, Faculty of Engineering and Ms. Li Lu, Commissioner of the  International Affairs Department of the Faculty of Engineering visited China  University of Mining and Technology.

Zhang  Zhenkang, Director of the International Office of CUMT, gave an introduction to  guests on the history, leading disciplines and international cooperation and  exchanges of CUMT. He also reviewed the history of cooperation between the two  universities. Professor Peter Halley said that he was very happy to visit CUMT  and willing to cooperate with CUMT in more areas. Subsequently, the two sides  carried in-depth exchanges and discussions on the 3+1+1 project, 2+2 project,  outstanding undergraduates short-term study project, doctoral students joint  training project and other issues.

On the morning of March  14th, The Professors of the University of Queensland made an academic report at  the School of Chemical Engineering & Technology, CUMT.After the report, they  also gave project promotion and application guidance to the teachers and  students.
