Personal profile
HOU Hu-ping, is a professor and master tutor. Professor Hou is now the Secretary of the Party branch of the Department of land engineering, School of Environment and Spatial Informatics, China University of Mining and Technology. She received her doctorate in Cartography and Geographical Information Engineering from China University of mining and technology in 2010. She worked as a visiting scholar of Wuhan University from 2012.09 to 2013.07 and of University of Alberta, Canada, from 2014.03 to 2015.03. The main research fields are urban land price evaluation, ecological monitoring and evaluation, and ecological remote sensing. She mainly participated in 7 projects such as National Natural Science Foundation of China and key R & D projects of the 12th Five Year Plan. She has presided over 3 projects, including Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities, the fund of Jiangsu Key Laboratory, and more than 20 projects entrusted by provincial, municipal and county governments and relevant enterprises. She has directed or participated in publishing more than 70 academic papers, published one monograph and edited one textbook. She won 3 National S&T Progress Awards of Coal Industry Association.
