A Brief Introduction of Chen Deming
Chen Deming is the director of the Journal Publication and Document Information Center of Institute of Soil Science,Chinese Academy of Sciences(ISSCAS).He was a senior visiting scholar at Center for Ecology and Environmental Sciences of Council for Scientific Research(CMMA, CSIC),and Center for Soil and Water Research of Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization(CSIRO).His main research areas are plant salt tolerance and its mechanism and regulation, saline soil improvement and utilization management, soil water and salt regulation and optimization.He was responsible for Acta Pedologica Sinica,the Proceedings ofSoil Science Society of China(SSSC),and Soils of ISSCAS,besides,he also in charge of the document information work of ISSCAS,and the publish work of PEDOSPHERE.Currently, he is the director of the Journal Publication and Document Information Center ,ISSCAS,and responsible for PEDOSPHERE, Acta Pedologica Sinica and Soilsand library work.He is the deputy director of the Working Committee of SSSC,the member of Natural Science Institute ,Chinese Academy of Sciences and the deputy chairman of International Journal Professional Committee.He has long been engaged in the editing and publishing of academic dissertations. He has rich experience in writing scientific papers and posting manuscripts and has a profound understanding of the development of soil science.
